+ The room was comfortable and exceptionally clean. Due to terrible traffic, we arrived at 11pm (after letting the hotel know the problem) andwe were greeted by Clint who was just cashing up ready to close. Even though we were SO late (an hour later than we should have been checking in) nothing was too much trouble. We really appreciated that as we had spent hours in a car stuck in bad traffic. Thank you.- Everything and everyone was very pleasant. Breakfast was huge but lovely. I can't recommend this accommodation highly enough for it's grade.

+ The food was of excellent quality - fresh cooked and not the 'catering' type food found in bigger hotels. The rooms were unusual and querky!!! The staff were very helpful.

+ The family room was very spacious and comfortable. The double bed is in its own bedroom off the main room. Staff were always friendly and helpful.
- The stairs to the upstairs rooms were steep for our large luggage (but hey - it is a 500 year old hotel!)

+ Location of accomm. behind restaurant and bar. Fairly peaceful. Comfortable and home-like. Staff - very pleasant. Food was great and I liked the dining/breakfast areas. I would visit again.
- If anything it would be that the room was very warm when I arrived - sun-facing in the afternoon + central heating was on. Not a big issue though.
